Is Soda Water a Bad Alternative to Soda Pop?

I personally find that soda water decreases bloating for me. When drinking regular water I bloat and gain weight. Soda water can be a nice alternative to water retention. Healthline.com reports that it can decrease constipation and improve swallowing. It can also help to moderate your eating habits by making you feel more full.

  5. Nutrient Absorption: There's a misconception that carbonation interferes with nutrient absorption, but I could not find any research information to support this.


Does soda water dehydrate you?
